Muhammad Umer Yasin was appointed as Electrical Engineer. He is responsible for TPS’s power system studies, consult and support the client with real time power system operations and is part of TPS’s Power System Engineer Group. 

He has extensive knowledge in Electrical Power System and Microcontrollers in the consulting engineering industry within Australia and Internationally, focusing on power system connection study, network security assessment, renewable generator performance study and SCADA system implementation.  

As an Electrical Engineer, Umer specialised in the connection study and commissioning of mini-hydro and hydropower systems, solar power systems, project management, hydropower investigations, prefeasibility and feasibility studies, environmental assessments and approvals, resource investigations and resource water management. Recently, Umer has been engaged to involve with the Australian Research Council “ARC Training Centre in Energy Technologies for Future Grids” research theme H “Hydrogen Energy” Program HF4—Ramp rate control of hydrogen/battery/pumped storage to support grid frequency.
